Dr Eyre has a great bed side manner and sense of humour. When I first saw him he advised me that he needed to operate on my ankle but as I was having problems with my back I should see a consultant for that first as it would be better to wait until I had my back operation and fully recovered from that before operating on my ankle. I would like to thank Dr Eyre and his team who are all friendly, helpful and professional as were all the staff who treated me at Pontefract Hospital

I was initially seen by Mr Eyre 18 months ago and should have had surgery by him then which was eventually done at another hospital by someone else - Big mistake!! I was re referred to Mr Eyre who listened intently to my problems and explained I needed further surgery which he then did himself in due course. The outcome up to now has been exceedingly good and I am super pleased. Mr Eyre obviously has so much knowledge which he puts to good use, he explains everything really clearly and does little diagrams to aid understanding. He answers every question really openly and listens to everything. Mr Eyre knows what he is doing and trust him completely. From the initial appointment right through to follow up the care from Mr Eyre and the hospital in general has been fabulous (apart from todays longer than average wait in clinic). The consistency of my care this time has been fantastic and I cannot praise Mr Eyre, his team and ward staff enough for the amount of patience, effort, time, skill and care shown. His aptitude for allaying any fears and anxieties are a bonus and his calm manner an absolute pleasure. I have no doubt that my complete recovery will follow shortly. The only snag has been a deep stitch which seemed intent on working it way upwards/outwards and in the process caused an infection which hopefully will stay away following a course of antibiotics. This minor problem has been however just sent to test me and not caused by any error by anyone. I would highly recommend Mr Eyre and the hospital to anyone.

My experience during my time under the care of Mr Jason Eyre was one of excellence. the advice I received and consultations leading up to my surgery were the best. My operation was done and all after care the best. I would recommend this trust in the future.

After having two previous operations on my ankle that failed I was referred to Dr Eyre. After explaining the operation i wasn't sure how successful this would be but the treatment worked brilliantly and 6 month down the lines i am reaping the benefit's doing physical activities without feeling the pain afterwards

After having previous surgery on my ankle at another hospital where i was a little dissapointed with the outcome, i was reffered by my physio to see Mr Eyre. From the outset he took onboard what my frustrations were, and took time to understand what i was hoping from any new surgery. He explained everything clearly and what the potential risks in having the surgery would be. I have see Mr Eyre on numerous ocassion and cannot speak highly enough of his work and his manner, i would highly recommend anyone seeing Mr Eyre first class.
